Watermead Trust Planning Ltd provides estate planning and trust services, including but not limited to:
- Will writing and review
- Trust creation and administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney preparation
- Business protection planning
- Estate planning consultations
- Secure document storage
Our services are advisory in nature. Where regulated financial advice is required, this is provided through SFA Independent Financial Advisers, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
3. Client Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information as requested
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your circumstances that may affect your planning
- Review all documents carefully before signing
- Pay all fees as agreed
- Keep copies of all documents provided to you
4. Fees and Payment
Our fees will be clearly explained and agreed before we commence any work. We provide written quotations for all services.
- Payment terms will be specified in your engagement letter or quotation
- We accept payment by bank transfer, cheque, or card
- VAT is charged where applicable at the prevailing rate
- Late payments may incur interest as permitted by law
5. Cancellation and Refunds
You have the right to cancel services within 14 days of engagement for distance contracts (online or telephone sales), provided work has not yet commenced with your express consent.
If work has commenced, you will be charged for work completed up to the point of cancellation. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation.
6. Confidentiality
We treat all client information as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your information to third parties except:
- With your express consent
- Where required by law or regulatory obligation
- To our professional advisers bound by confidentiality obligations
- To service providers necessary to deliver our services (e.g., document storage)
7. Intellectual Property
All materials, content, and documents created by us remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon payment, you receive a licence to use documents created specifically for you for their intended purpose.
The content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without our permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
We maintain professional indemnity insurance appropriate to our services. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and the terms of our insurance coverage.
We are not liable for losses arising from:
- Information provided by you that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Your failure to act on our advice
- Changes in law occurring after documents are prepared
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Complaints Procedure
We are committed to providing excellent service. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service:
- Please contact us in writing at our registered address or by email
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days
- We will investigate and provide a full response within 28 days
- If you remain dissatisfied, you may refer the matter to the relevant ombudsman or professional body
